The Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) is used primarily for admission to boarding schools and military schools in the U.S., Canada, and around world. Some private secondary schools also accept this test.
The test consists of 3 levels:
- Elementary level for students in grades 3 - 4
- Middle level for students in grades 5 - 7
- Upper level for students in grades 8 - 11
The SSAT Middle and Upper levels consist of a short essay, and multiple choice sections that include Reading Comprehension, Verbal, and Mathematics.
