Naomi Christine Leapheart is a teacher, facilitator, and consultant in communications, diversity training, and leadership development. She works extensively with both for-profits and non-profit organizations, and particularly enjoys partnering with youth-led and youth-serving agencies. Before joining Bell Curves team, Naomi worked at two of the nation's largest test preparation companies teaching SAT and GRE. Over the past 6 years, she's split her time between test preparation and youth development initiatives. Naomi currently teaches math, social studies, science, language arts, and writing at an alternative school in Philadelphia for young people who have been pushed out of traditional high schools.
In 2006, Naomi founded The MatchStick Group, a firm that helps youth and young adults become thoughtful leaders. A published writer and sought-after speaker, Naomi is working on the forthcoming book, Sojourner’s Daughters: young black women on sex, femininity, and leadership.
